I consider myself a builder of fire scaffolding. Galaxy is really just the scaffold for the fire to hang on. And it turns out it’s pretty interesting to look at itself. I’m trying to create something that through the shear force of combustion promotes an exuberance in the onlookers. Burning Man has always been the exuberance of the crowd catalyzed by inspiring art and play. That is what I’m trying to do with every piece I make.
