COMET: Your Ticket to the Stars!
Calling all cosmic adventurers! Become a vital part of our event’s mission by joining our crew, and you’ll be eligible for our brand new COMET program (Community Merit Ticket). As a volunteer, you’ll earn more than just good vibes: you’ll secure your reserved ticket for next year (we heard it was even better)! Skip the lottery system and enjoy the certainty of a place at the heart of the action. By volunteering, you’ll not only make our event out-of-this-world, but you’ll secure your place in our community. Stars shine just fine on their own, but to make a Constellation, you need to make a connection.

There are several ways to get reserved tickets under this program, but the most common will be through volunteer shifts. If, during 2024, you complete at least:
- 6 hours of volunteer shifts between 8am and 10pm or
- 4 hours of volunteer shifts between 10pm and 8am the next morning
and record those hours at the Information Support Station (ISS) after your shift we’ll guarantee you have the opportunity to purchase a ticket at list price to Constellation Burn 2025.
Shifts that take place before or after the Burn (e.g. DPW and City Planning) also count for COMET.
Reserve tickets do not accumulate – if you earn 2025 reserve tickets through several means, you’ll only get the reserve tickets from the category that gives you the most.
No reserve tickets for 2024 will be issued through the COMET program.
