Join for the Constellation Burn 2024 work weekend at Fort Royale Farm!  This is an opportunity for us to gather as a community and prepare the land for Constellation Burn 2024.

There are a number of projects to help us prepare our city, and we can use all the hands we can get.

Tasks include:

  • Weeding and removing over growth
  • Removing rocks in sites
  • Killing and removing poison ivy with land owner permission
  • Cleaning up existing sites and prep new/proposed ones
  • Measuring sites with the City Planning team.

Those helping are welcome to arrive Saturday, 7/20, after 8:30 am. A member of the DPW team will be leading the over-all work and the City Planning coordinator will coordinate those measuring sites and paths. Camping will be near the front of the property, by the stage, with a large communal fire pit nearby.

Work will take place 10:00am – 4:00pm on Saturday, with potential remaining tasks on Sunday morning and departure Sunday afternoon.

Bring gloves, tools for rock removal, coverage for removing poison ivy (a voluntary task, only join if you feel safe doing so), and any other tools you feel will be useful in preparing sites and expanding our foot print. The full list of tasks will be shared soon.
